CONTENTS: Textbook that presents the most popular modern German ballads of the 1860s. Most of the material is in German. There is a short discussion in English before each major poem and German-English vocabulary at the bottom of many of the pages.

CONDITION: Book is in quite good condition considering its age. There is minimal cover wear and a little discoloration. The pages are clean and tight in the spine. Penciled translations on a few ballads.
